Carbide Tools was founded in 1970 by Michael Hilary and Eamon Stevenson in a workshop in Phibsboro, Dublin, before moving to a purpose built factory in Coolock in 1975, where we have remained to this day.

Carbide Tools provide a complete range of tools and service to the Irish woodworking industry. We manufacture TCT Sawblades and market them with a range of Router Cutters under the HARDTIPT brand. Furthermore, we are the sole agents in Ireland for both AKE and FREZITE , whom are considered amongst the finest manufacturers of Sawblades and Tooling respectively in Europe and are both ISO9000 certified.
